Welcome to ResizeImages.online. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and image tools (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. The Service
ResizeImages.online provides free, browser-based tools for resizing, compressing, cropping, rotating, and converting image files, including specialized presets for Indian government and competitive exam photo/signature requirements (such as SSC, UPSC, NEET, and IBPS). All image processing runs locally in your browser; we do not receive or store the images you process (see our Privacy Policy for details).
2. Who Can Use This Service
You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal right to use and process any image you upload into the tools.
3. Your Content and Ownership
You retain full ownership of your images.
We do not claim any rights to the photos, signatures, or other content you process using our tools. Since your images are processed entirely in your browser and never transmitted to us, we have no access to them and no basis to claim any rights over them.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and process any image you upload — for example, that you own the photo, have permission to use it, or it's your own signature or identification photo. Do not use the Service to process images you don't have the right to use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Process, generate, or attempt to create fraudulent identification documents, photos, or signatures for submission to any government, exam, or institutional body under false pretenses
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' use of it
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service in a way that degrades it for other users
- Use automated systems (bots, scripts) to access the Service at a scale beyond normal individual use
A note on exam-related tools specifically:
Our exam preset tools (e.g., for SSC, UPSC, NEET, IBPS) are provided to help you meet publicly stated photo/signature format requirements (dimensions, file size, etc.). We make reasonable efforts to keep these presets accurate and current, but we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any exam board or government body, and you are responsible for independently verifying the current official requirements on the relevant exam authority's website before submission. See Section 6 (Disclaimer) below.
5. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
- Any specific output (file size, dimensions, format compatibility) will be accepted by every third-party system or exam authority you submit it to
- The Service is free of bugs or technical issues on every device and browser combination
We work to keep the tools accurate and reliable, but browser-based processing can vary slightly depending on your device, browser, and operating system.
6. Disclaimer — Exam and Compliance Tools
Our exam photo/signature preset tools are intended as a convenience aid, based on publicly available format requirements at the time they were created. They are not an official product of, and are not endorsed by, SSC, UPSC, NEET, IBPS, or any other exam board or government agency referenced on this Site. Exam requirements can change. Always cross-check the current official specifications on the relevant exam authority's own website or notification before submitting any document. We are not responsible for application rejections, delays, or other consequences resulting from reliance on our tools without independent verification.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResizeImages.online and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including, but not limited to, lost data, lost opportunities (such as a rejected exam application), or damages resulting from reliance on tool output without independent verification.
8. Advertising
The Service may in the future display advertising (for example, via Google AdSense) to support the cost of running the Site for free. Any such advertising will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to the Service or These Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; we'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Service, for any user, at our discretion — for example, in response to abusive use or violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
